We had our kayaks with us and skipped trying to launch on those and went to nearby Bow Lake and Emerald Lake instead.
Do not even dream of driving to these places in July unless you plan to be there at sunrise. Parking filled up very early. Very crowded at the Lakes and parking lots were packed and hard to maneuver with our dually. The Icefields Parkway is just north of Lake Louise. Campground was nice with plenty of room in the site for the big rig.

RURAL ELECTRIC PROGRAM Grant
When the power went out I could not find any way to contact anyone. Our gravel padded sites have new grass growing, power, picnic table and an amazing view of the Rockies. We experienced numerous complete power outages during our stay, presumably due to central breakers not at our site tripping. They could use a shelf or additional hooks. Full hook-up section is still closed because of nighttime freezing temperatures.
Before You Begin
One of the most common causes of schedule delays is the permitting and approval process. Each site has a smaller tree, sodded lawn, cement pad, picnic table, parking for two vehicles. Random backcountry camping is only permitted in wildland provincial parks and public land use zones. You can review what happens in each phase below.

The Lake Louise parking lot fills early. We strive to offer our customers lower prices for the exact same products other companies offer. Good park and would stay again. Train tracks run very close by and we had several trains each day. It's an easy walk into the village from the campground.

Group camping areas and group day use areas are available in several provincial parks. Site had a picnic table and fire pit. Check-out time in provincial campgrounds is normally p. No fire pits but you may bring a portable one.
Put all the yummy smelling stuff away and lock it up. Park staff was friendly and helpful, plus apologetic. Could have been scary but the rangers were on top of it and warning campers where to go or avoid.
